A different take on the same plant

This was my first attempt. Take two is much better.
Not too bad for a first effort.
The left shot is the latest version. A different crop, less direct sunlight, a slightly different angle and significantly different background as well as some creative burning. The result, at least to my eyes, is a more interesting and beautiful shot. Feel free to click for larger images.
