The best among us fight the darkness within. This shot exemplifies where we all come from and what we all carry within.
Primordial
This shot is a macro of a polished abalone shell. Shot live tethered using Sony Pro Capture 1 with a Sony Alpha a68 connected to a Tamron 90mm 272E and a single incandescent light. It took about an hour to find the shot I was looking for. This may seem excessive but it meant that except for proofing and scaling there was no post processing.
