I have yet to find a definitive answer to the question and I've been searching for a few decades. Christianity says go out to the world. Judaism must deny a would be convert three times. HHDL suggests that it's best to stay within one's own spiritual roots. It is confusing.
In the end each one must make their own choice.
What matters more than the choice is the result. Does your choice plant the seeds of life and Love?
