Do Your People Honour The Gardener Or The Warrior

 'Not all is well there,' said Frodo, 'but certainly gardeners are honoured.' (LOTR)

Since the Garden of Eden gardeners have not done well. Even Sam The Wise of Shire fame was, up until the very end only a bit of comic relief. It seems to me that if we truly want to live in Peace and Harmony, we'd be better off honouring Sam The Wise than Old Blood And Guts Patton.
Who do your people honour?

 Since the Garden of Eden gardeners have not done well. Even Sam The Wise of Shire fame was, up until the very end of Book VI, only a bit of comic relief. 

It seems to me that if we truly want to live in Peace and Harmony, we'd be better off honouring Sam The Wise than Old Blood And Guts Patton.
