It's certainly not pretty, but it is definitely practical. No digging out the old pipe to install the new. No massive mess during installation. Not even much dust. It took less than a full day's work. Added bonus: the next time a faucet or a connection wears out, and they do with some regularity, (Chinese Quality) the replacement will be quick and easy.
