 Which is why Israeli tanks were always in the neighborhood whenever the IDF was ordered to destroy a hospital complex. Which raises the question: Why has Israel withdrawn most of their tanks? 

• because tanks are terrifying weapons of war when they are moving and attacking but they make really big targets when the combat enters a siege state.
• tanks and infantry work well together. But tanks without infantry support can get into serious trouble very quickly. Israel has withdrawn most of the IDF infantry.
  

Now for the bigger question, why did Israel pull out? Sorry, I have no idea. You can go to your favorite news source and then to your most hated news source and be given 2 absolutely opposed opinions. The possibilities are endless.

That being the case, here's some thoughts to ponder.

• for going on 7 months Netanyahu has time and again told the world that victory is at hand.
• Hamas, for going on 7 months has continuously been firing rockets into Israel. Often from within areas that Israel claims to have pacified.
• much of the world has turned against Israel. Perhaps Israel is hoping to claw back some lost good will?
• Israel has created a new barrier separating North and South Gaza. Is Israel now planning to turn Gaza into their own Ireland?
•  perhaps not such an outrageous thought, have the Zionists come to understand that they have lost this war and are they pulling back the IDF to prepare for the coming war?

As I said, the possibilities are endless. All that I know is that until the people on the ground decide that it is better for people to live in justice, mercy, equality and humility than to try to exterminate each other, nothing will change.
