It's Not Been Good Of Late

Hi, If anyone is keeping track, you will have noticed that my letters are becoming few and far between. There be nothing mysterious, devious or dangerous going on...

September 30, 2024, Hi, If anyone is keeping track, you will have noticed that my letters are becoming few and far between. There be nothing mysterious, devious or dangerous going on... All that is happening is old age. I'm moving slower in both body and mind. A not particularly pleasant reality but my reality nonetheless. Now, onto pleasanter tidings! Our newest cherry tomato harvest has begun. Brilliant red, bug free, juicy and delicious. It be way too early to know for sure, but the greenery from our sweet potatoes is rich and luxuriant, which bodes well for the sweet treasures that are growing underground. Next on the list are our wing beans. The last planting produced great plants but no blossoms. This time round, the blossoms are big and beautifully blue. If things continue as they are, we are hopefully in for a good harvest. Since Min transferred 3/4 of the upper pond tilapia to the lower pond, there have been no more tilapia deaths. Admittedly, our December harvest came three months early, but there's nothing wrong with an early Winter Solstice sharing. And if the coming year is anywhere near as bountiful as this last year, we'll be able to share some very nice sized and tasty tilapia twice. That be a good deal. Take care and stay close to your loved ones, Brian
Slowly but surely dimming
