The Experts Missed This One

The signs were in the sky, but the experts were only looking at their computer screens. 
Stratus clouds were coming in and thickening, the humidity was going up, the ants were moving to higher ground. There was rain coming and possibly wind.

I am not an expert, so I didn't know how much wind was on the way, but there wasn't a doubt that rain and lots of it was coming! By the time it had come and gone, our garden looked significantly different.
