Long Past The Tipping Point 

I am not sure that anyone ever called me a friend of Israel.  And Certainly since Oct. 8th some have called me an enemy of Israel. But, since I first began to read about the Holocaust, I was about nine years old, and I'm now 74, I have believed that a State of Israel was needed. Now I'm not so sure.

The New Pariah State

I have come to see Israel, not as a beacon of light and a state of refuge but as a terrorist state that is being supported by other states for geological reasons rather than moral reasons. Because of this I no longer wholeheartedly support Israel.

What I Do Support

I support the creation of a new internationally protected state that will become the hoped for light to the nations that is described in The Abrahamic Faiths. A nation where Jew and Muslim live in Salah, Shalom with each other, their neighbors and the world.  Yes, I know, it is impossible. But is it more impossible than a two state solution or a one occupying state solution?

Closing Thought

Go ahead and call me any of a hundred or more insulting names you think apply to me. It make no difference to how I view myself. 

But it will take either a very brave or very foolish person to start labeling the 600+ authors of the Trump Letter as antisemitic. 

Israel has achieved the stated goals of this war. It is time for Israel to become a Peacemaker State not a terrorist state.
