You don't need a majority to win an election or destroy a democracy

Reality check.

Hitler and the Nazi party came to power not through a majority of the votes but through a minority of the votes and a simple intimidation of the opposition. Trump and the Maga movement came to power in a similar fashion they did not have a majority of the popular vote. But they certainly intimidated and overpowered the opposition.

Once in office they both used the same playbook.

• Weimar 1932: order through spectacle and intimidation.

• MAGA era: order through policing, immigration control, and symbolic militarization.

• Shared strategy: make citizens equate freedom with chaos, and control with safety.

The need to justify boots on the ground.

Hitler knew it was not enough to merely gain control of the government. He needed to gain control of the streets and the cities so that he could control all of society.

Trump is any number of things, but he is nobody's fool. He has learned not from history, but from other dictators. He knows that he needs to get military boots into the cities of America.

First into the cities that are governed by the Democrats because they are the enemy. And then into the cities of the Republicans. The closer America moves to the midterm elections the more intentional, the more intense, and the more flagrantly this will happen.

The takeaway.

Trump is already ruling by decree. He already has boots on the ground. Trump learned his lesson when his attempted steal of the 2020 election failed. Rather than raise a mob after the election, this time he'll have ICE, the Border Patrol, the National Guard, and possibly even the Marines in the streets before the election.

I don't wish to spread fear or rumors. All that I am attempting to do is to point out the historic similarities between the Trump Maga Minority Majoritarianism movement that is now engulfing America and many other instances throughout history where good people have been overrun by a vicious minority.
