Hibiscus Take Two: Circular Vignette To Darken The Background

I joined Cambridge in Colour so that I could get the best critique on my art. It was suggested to me that a vignette would bring out the flower just that little bit more. They were right.
He was right. A vignette made a marked improvement in the shot

Here's a link to the original shot. Which do you prefer? I like the added vignette.
