Star Wars Got Nothing On This Visitor

After nearly twenty years here I'm still finding new visitors. This one is about one inch long, basic brown with some lime green highlighting and looks like it can fly.
I have no idea what this is. Do you?

One reason I bought a macro lens was that so when a beasty like this showed up I could get a good shot and hopefully have someone identify the beast. Another reason is that there is just so much unseen beauty that surrounds most of us.
