Ongoing Wild Ginger Blossom Series

Wild Ginger Blossom

This is the third shot in a series that could go for the better part of a year. Over this time the ginger blossom will go from about one inch tall to perhaps eighteen inches in length.  The colour will move from this deep yellow through fire engine red and finally into midnight black as it ripens the seeds.  I think this will be a most enjoyable journey.
