The Wild Ginger Series Continues: The Blossom Has Doubled In Size

The blossom has more than doubled in size

When I first noticed this ginger the entire plant was about 8" tall and the blossom about one. At maturity the blossom may be as long as 18". Here are  links  to the previous shots. Count the rings on the blossom. As this plant takes about eight months to go through its life cycle I hope you don't bore easily.
