Night Shot: Resting Turtle

Day or night this turtle likes to rest head first in his cave

We have created an upper and a lower pond in our garden. Turtles have moved into both of them. They are among the shyest of beings and are in constant hide mode. This one has taken to hiding in a small cave in our upper pond. Not too far in the future she will have outgrown the cave. I hope she'll find another place to hide and stick around.
