Most of those who read this will be familiar with 'The Devil Is In The Details'. Most of you (I'm willing to bet) are not familiar with 'The Good God Is In The Detail'. Yet it was the first of the two idioms too be recorded.

I believe that the language of the people reflects the desires, needs and beliefs of a society. If you and your friends are familiar with and use 'The devil is in the details' and not familiar with and don't use 'The good God is in the detail'... what does that say about the desires, beliefs and needs of your society?
