Macro: Stranger Than Sci-Fi Fiction

Living in a Tropical Rain Forest climate ensures many interesting macro subjects. Even by our standards this cocoon is exotic. I know that something lives within the yellow and blue silk because in one of my the shots the creature's tail was sticking out. The overall length is 3/4 of an inch. As always, shot in our Garden/Temple somewhere in the Philippines.
