Declare your jihad on thirteen enemies you cannot see

Declare your jihad on thirteen enemies you cannot see -egoism, arrogance, conceit, selfishness, greed, lust, intolerance, anger, lying, cheating, gossiping and slandering. If you can master and destroy them, then you will be ready to fight the enemy you can see.

My Knowledge and understanding of Islam is shamefully limited. Allow me to point you to a trusted source for teachings on the great teachers. The 'Stanford Encyclopedia of Philosophy' is an outstanding online resource. They offer an interesting and trustworthy accounting of his life and teachings.

Do You Have What It Takes?

To declare a jihad against the thirteen unseeable enemies takes great courage. Of equal importance is the fact that the battleground will be within your very soul. Fighting within your soul means fighting against your inner being. This has ever been the battleground that few achieve victory on.

As the young rabbi expressed it:
"For many are called, but few are chosen."

Please don't misunderstand me: I hope you will accept the calling. I just want you to accept the calling knowing how dangerous a calling it is.
