 How does this look. Not too bad. So it's off to the races. 

Today there's no slideshow. Just a simple blog with some thoughts and a rather pretty image. 

Over here we have entered into a new and  dangerous time. The President has declared open season on any and all armed rebels. Admittedly that doesn't sound so bad but sometimes the reality overshadows the theory. 

The second (?) day of implementing his 'Kill Kill Kill' order saw nine rebels shot and killed. But if the witnesses are to be believed not all of them were armed. Indeed some say the police/military planted weapons at some of the encounter scenes. I couldn't say if the dead were rebels, were armed or even if they resisted. 

This new season of violence has also brought about a change in the rules. The police/military are now allowed to do surveillance and to collect information on university campuses. It's called 'Red Tagging'. If you're tagged as a Red you 're a target. Fun times.

Me, I just stay home and enjoy our garden. Take a few pictures post a few links. What could go wrong?
