Words Aren't Always Needed

Enlightenment as a noun is just so new age. To wake up and see the sacred. To close your eyes shake your head and see a new universe before you when you open them. That's to be Awakened to all the new possibilities.

Enlightenment as a noun is just so new age. To wake up and see the sacred. To close your eyes shake your head and see a new universe before you when you open them. That's to be Awakened to all the new possibilities. To me Awakened is more sensible than Enlightened.

The story's told that when it came time for the Buddha to die he gathered his inner circle. Lifting up a Lotus blossom he showed it to them. Only one of his disciples understood the message. He became their leader when the Buddha died. 

The Buddha knew what I'm beginning to understand:
