We all create our own reality from our own choices.

UPDATE

We must share a common baseline. There are NO alternative FACTS. You still must choose your actions. But your choices need to be firmly rooted in the common reality.

My first choice was deciding to take a shot of the Hibiscus. This isn't quite as simple as it sounds. F/stop, ISO, distance from subject, camera angle and many other choices needed to be made. Then came the processing.

Colour or Black and White? Crop size and shape. The feelings I wanted to express. Where was I going to post the images. And a whole bunch of 'lets try this or maybe that' moments. 

The choices that were made, or not made created the images. Same deal with my life. The choices I have made or not made have created the reality that I inhabit.

 

And the choices you have or have not made have created your reality. Here's where it gets powerful. The older you get the bigger the chance that your choices will be the right choices. Not that it has to work that way but it surely can.

 

Then there is the added bonus that your choices and my choices get entangled. We, all of us, create our worlds reality. Almost 80,000,000 people voted for Trump. That creates an ugly reality for America and the world. Enough people along the LNG proposed pipeline routes in what is now called Canada were dead set against the pipelines and the LNG traversing their lands. No More LNG pipelines and a chance for a cleaner world for all of us. So many people in America want to be able to play at being warriors that they figure a mass shooting every week or so is just part of the package. 

Our choices, on an individual and a group basis really do create our world. So be careful what you choose. Careful for all our sakes.
