100+(?) ~ 71 ~ 32

 Lola's not so sure but she believes she is 100+. I'm in the middle at 71. Lola's granddaughter is 32.

 I haven't been out of our garden in give or take two years. However special occasions bring special demands

We first met Wingene as she hid behind her mother. She was a shy eight year old and I was a strange looking foreigner. 

Since then she has earned a Bachelors degree in teaching, gotten married to a fine young man, become the mother of two very challenging children and just last week Wingene successfully defended her Masters thesis. 

Earning her masters while working full time, getting married, raising two children and worrying about her husband who is in the military took her twelve years. I simply had to go and congratulate her.

While we were there her helper took the above image.  

I will not attempt put into writing all of the memories captured in this image. It's enough to quietly state: Wingene it is an honor to be even a small part of your life.
