The Leopard ~ The A1 ~ Drone Killers ~ Middle Class Wallets And Dinner Tables

 The Moscow Times has it's own slant but the basic facts appear to be accurate.

 The 'facts' are simple and simply terrifying. Germany has given the all clear for other nations to ship Leopard 2 tanks to the Ukraine. As well they will be sending a company of their own Leopard 2's. 

 

These are apparently going to  be matched by up to fifty American Abrams.

Russia for it's part has upped the game by installing air defense systems around Moscow.  

 

I am going to leave it to the highly paid professional guessers and four star generals to explain in detail what this all might mean . 

 But from the cheap seats: Come Spring this war will either be brought to an end at a conference table or it will expand dramatically. The Ukraine has a proven capability with it's drones to reach deeply into Russia. Deep enough to hit Moscow. Russia has fallen back upon WW2 strategy: massive artillery followed by merciless ground fighting.

 

Adding everything together and looking at it from the safety of our garden I see death and destruction on a scale not seen since WW2 coming our way. Plus for the rest of the world food and money will become increasingly rare. 

Why so? because each Leopard costs over 6,000,000 dollars and that doesn't include ammo and oil changes. That money can only come from the middle classes wallets and dinner tables. Good luck to one and all. 

I'll only add that it's time to toss the turf and plant some veggies, maybe raise a chicken or two and dig a pond for some fish.
