You May Love Whom You Will ~ Still And All You Should Not Scare The Horses

"Does it really matter what these affectionate people do — so long as they don’t do it in the streets and frighten the horses!

  • Reply to a young actress who asserted that an older actor in a production showed too much affection for the leading man (c. 1910); as reported by Alan Dent in Mrs. Patrick Campbell, p. 78 (1961)."

Within reason your comfort zone is your comfort zone

There are exactly two human rights. The right to be born and the right to die. Everything else is dependent upon the culture you live in.

The following map I present as a case in point. Of course to fully validate this map would take more time than I have. So take it with a grain of salt. But the general point is undeniable: worldwide there are, always have been and in all probability always will be cultures that accept more than two genders.

Finally, in my usual(?) round about way I've come to the main point:

Can we all please work towards becoming so enlightened that modesty and decency are once again considered to be desirable virtues?

What makes anyone think that this old man in a 30+ year monogamous relationship gives a damn about their sexual/gender preferences. That is of course unless they choose to try to seduce me, M'lady or a child!

Justice says your partner (within reason) is your choice. Mercy says you will be forgiven if you make a wrong choice. Humility says modesty and decency are good things for everybody to practice.
