On The Home Front: Tilapia

Food for 4 families. No it's not charity it's equal shares.

Last night our water supply seriously thinned out. One pond dangerously low and the other getting stale. We found one fair sized dead tilapia and decided to be proactive. 

The ladies spent much of the morning draining the lower pond and catching the bigger tilapia. The net result (pun intended) is that 4 families eat better tonight and our lower pond is not so crowded.

If things go as hoped for come December there should be a good harvest of large and tasty tilapia.
