You could call us blessed or privileged but the simple truth is that with a lot of help from our friends and whatever god's that chose to help us, we have come down exactly where we are meant to be. 

Over the decades the land we are stewards of has shown us what to do and we now have an exceptionally enjoyable combination of wild and cultivated land to nurture our bodies and spirits. 

All in all, living in our garden is a lot more enjoyable than living in the world. To be in but not of is a good way to live.
