Cooper our fruit loving Doberman 

 Cooper lived a long life and then died while I cradled his head. The roof is now finished. Most of the lawn has been replaced. The rabbit hutch is no more. I still wear the T-shirt but it has a small rip in the shoulder. As for me? I'm now old and frail. Thinning hair. Thickened waist. That's as it should be.
