Balancing The Power Brings A Temporary Pause ~ Repentance, Forgiveness And A Good Heart Nourishes Peace
You can never build peace on ancient hatreds.
The story is told of two villages, one Christian the other Muslim. The women could kill at 3K with a .50 caliber snipers' rifle.  The killing continued generation to generation.

Then the grandmothers in one of the villages decided it was time to end the blood feud and nurture Peace.

They put on their finest clothes, packed bags of ashes, began to wail and walked to the other village. When they arrived, they prostrated themselves, ripped and rendered their clothing, covered themselves in ashes and asked to be allowed to talk to the old women of the village.

Soon enough the old women of both villages were covered in ash and ripped clothing. Within the week the villages gathered together to repent, forgive and allow the goodness found within their hearts to build true Peace between the villages.

Some will say that I tell a good story. Others will be angered at what they think are my lies. The Orcs amongst us will still want to kill.

So, I'll leave you with one absolute fact that is backed up through time immemorial:

War never creates peace. War always breeds more war.
