Wars Empty The Kirk And Fill The Graveyard

 I'm not a big fan of wars. They are created by old men and women, fought by young men and women, very unhealthy for children, and they increase the suffering of the Proles while enriching the Bosses.

Here's a challenge: find me a war that wasn't started by an old man or woman. Or find me a war that wasn't fought by the young and killed the children.  

If humanity would only put as much effort and as many resources into creating life and love as we put into creating death and hate we'd have a much more peaceful world.

"Blessed are the peacemakers: for they shall be called the children of G-d"

It doesn't say blessed are the old men and women who start the wars, or blessed be the young people that fight them or even blessed are the children who die in them.

It says blessed are the peacemakers. I take that to mean blessed are the people that can find a way to stop or at the very least slow down, the ever-expanding cycle of death and destruction that our world is being consumed by.
