Buddhism has no Saviour. It also has no Satan. What it has is the belief that you can always make the proper choice. When you fail to, it's your fault and your problem.

Personally, I like the idea that it's up to me. 

I certainly don't make the right choice all the time.

But when I don't, I have the ability to straighten things out.
