Nurturing Is Way Better Than Destroying

For perhaps obvious reasons societies always put a greater value on a warrior than a poet or a gardener. I, on the other hand, value the gardener and the poet. My Utopia would consider violence to be a truly shameful act, and war to be an horrendous national shame.

It be better to dirty your hands with dirt than someone's blood.

Here's a radical thought: the next time your country has a day to honor your warriors how about on the following day you have a National Day of Repentance for ever being in a war in the first place?

Don't mistake me for some left wing, woke, God forbid bleeding heart liberal. If I was, I wouldn't have a very protective 70 pound Black and Tan Doberman as a guard dog.

No, I'm no liberal. I'm an old school socialist and conservative that believes in doing justice, offering mercy and walking humbly wherever I happen to hang my hat.

Here's my final thought for this post:

If Jews, Christians and Muslims would spend as much time, effort and money to get along in Salah, Shalom, Peace as they do to kill each other and take what they have no right to, then the Middle East could blossom into Paradise on Earth.
