Our Stupidity Their Lives

For reasons I'm sure the rest of the Universe find insufficient to the cause many humans think we are the apple of god's eye and everything was created to serve us. Jewish, Christian and I believe Islamic theology all declare that we have dominion (ie: the right of Kings or Queens) over the Earth.

Leave Me Alone!

 In one way this silly belief is true. As we merrily dance our way into a living Hell on Earth because of our addiction to carbon-based fuels and plastic we take the rest of the inhabitants of Planet Earth with us. 

 Sadly, humanity seems incapable of changing. Even if we could or would change, we have screwed things up so badly it would take between 500 and 1,000 years, just to begin to reverse the damage we've done.

I suppose one can always hope? for a better humanity.
