A Fully Human Jesus Must Contain All That Is Human

 And I do mean ALL!

Since the 4th century it has been Christianity 101 that Jesus was both perfectly God and perfectly Human. For the lay woman or man, the exact details have aways been a bit blurry. Allow me to put forward my understanding. And please remember that I'm not trying to convert or persuade. I'm putting what I think this means out into the www. Jesus and by extension God, is the ultimate example of the dualistic nature of our existence. Jesus is described in the Gospels as a woman. He is, kind, nurturing, caring, attentive, listen well and has patience galore. In Revelations Jesus is a domineering, demanding, vicious, vengeful, nasty piece of work. The ultimate God of War. If I was a psychiatrist, I just might decide that to be perfectly human was to live in a constant schizophrenic battle. But I'm not so I won't. However, as an ex-pastor/christian I will say that trying to make sense out of the Nicene Creed was one of the reasons Christianity and I parted ways. I still try to follow the moral/ethical teachings of Jesus. I just no longer buy the Christ of the church. The Green Man
