Do You Know Where Sudan Is Located?

 I ask this question because in the last give or take year about 11,000,000 Sudanese have been displaced because of a war between rival Generals.

Which brings me to a truly amazing in a very dark way fact: Record 120 million people forcibly displaced worldwide, UN says Just to put it in perspective, that is the population of Japan. And just to make it real that is 120,000,000 refugees who are on the move trying to find water, food, meds and shelter. Europe is already putting a wall around itself to stop the inflow of refugees. There are even verified accusations that the Greek Coast Guard has been throwing drowning refugees back into the water. In America there is a constant stream of refugees attempting to cross their southern border. Americas answer is muddled but it is moving ever closer to sealing the southern border with combat troops. Many of these refugees are on the move because of war, others are driven by poverty and dreams of a better life, and of course there are millions on the move because Global Warming has changed the environment where they came from, and they were unable to eke out an existence. Reality Cheque (pay as you go) As Global Warming intensifies, and Resource Wars grow ever larger, more numerous and deadlier, the world will become ever more tribal. What's ours is ours and the rest of you can go away. This is a completely human reaction which may well be why it is completely the wrong reaction. We must adopt the ideal found within the Buddhist Economic Platform of Sustainable Development. Looking after the world so that it looks after us, satisfying everyone's need and no one's greed. In short sentences: Those who have more need to lose their greed. Those who have less need to lose their greed dreams. We all need to work towards the ideals of Buddhist Sustainable Development.
