I Agree With Frost 'Either Will Do The Job'

Some say the world will end in fire, some say in ice.

 

From what I’ve tasted of desire
I hold with those who favor fire.

 

But if it had to perish twice,

 

I think I know enough of hate
To say that for destruction, ice is also great.

(Robert Frost)  Fire and Ice   First apologies to Robert frost and his enthusiasts. The more I read and percolate this poem the more I feel the need to make it my own by throwing in my parsing.   No doubt many an enthusiast and possibly even Robert Frost will consider this to be pure cheek. I won't disagree. Still and all for me, the new parsing helps the poem to come alive.   Brian
