A Most Excellent Gifting

Friends and family, this morning the turtles gifted me in a most excellent way.

December 25, 2024, Friends and family, this morning the turtles gifted me in a most excellent way. Gifting A most excellent gifting I knew that the young turtles would swim out to feed on the fish pellets. But I had no idea how they ate their meal. This morning I was gifted with the knowledge. After I threw a handful of pellets into the shallow end of the pond, I waited and watched. Ever so slowly, I saw a young turtle float to the surface, raise his head and check me out. When she was satisfied, she slowly sank out of sight, only to float back up and while still submerged grab a fish pellet in her beak. This was done three or fur times. Each time in a slightly different location. Float up, munch and sink. Paddle a bit and repeat. All in all, I watched three turtles perform the same ritual. Everyone has a right to their own ideal gifting. For me, in my time of life, this was a most excellent gifting. Brian
