Long Ago The Dark Side Of Christmas Sank Deeply Into My Conciousness

Family and friends, I wish I could join in the happiness so many of you feel at this time of the year, but it simply isn't possible. 
December 14, 2024, Family and friends, I wish I could join in the happiness so many of you feel at this time of the year, but it simply isn't possible. I simply see too much agony and bloodshed in the Christmas story. Mary, trying to explain to her family, friends and fiancé how she became pregnant. Herod ordering the slaughter of all children 2 years old or younger in an attempt to kill Jesus and save his power. All the horrors that the followers of the Christ would perpetrate in the name of the God of Love. These are the thoughts and images that fill my Yuletide season. Brian
