Google Translation Is Now Available.

  Confusion  I have added Google Translation to my posts. The simple fact is that I am only fluent in bad Canadian or obscene American. There are nearly 100 languages in the Philippines. How many more in the rest of the world? Another remarkable fact is that this blog is beginning to have a strong international readership. In the last six months every continent, subcontinent and even a few really tiny Island Nations have visited this blog.   Caveat  Google Translation does a better job than I could. But it does tend to miss the finer points of my brilliant arguments. So when in doubt, please consult someone rather than something to clarify if Google Translator is accurate or not.   Brian

Only The Long Suffering M'Lady And My Longer Suffering Friends Says Such Things To Me

Hullo F and F, I was going to continue on with Table talk 3.0 but felt that I needed a new AI selfie to adorn the post. I was pleased with the result, right up to when I asked M'Lady her opinion.

December 29, 2024 Hullo F and F, I was going to continue on with Table talk 3.0 but felt that I needed a new AI selfie to adorn the post. I was pleased with the result, right up to when I asked M'Lady her opinion. M'Lady says yes to the eyes, nose and hands She didn't think it looked like me at all. I asked why? 'Because you don't have the thick wavy hair or long beard any more. Your beard is short, and you only have long thick wavy hair on the sides.' She's right, age has caught up with me. I'm getting closer to Ben Franklin every day. Fact is, I'm curious which will totally depart quicker, my teeth or my hair! Still and all, we both agree that this AI selfie captures the essence, if not the actual physical me. Do I need a reality cheque? Is it okay to keep an old self-image as my everyday self? These are hardly Earth shattering questions. But they are questions that only someone I love and trust can get me to ponder. Which means only M'Lady and my longer suffering friends have the right. They know how to get me to ponder the questions that need to be pondered as I age. Which is one more reason that hermit that I am, I still need M'lady and my friends in my life. Brian
