Our Garden Grows More Than Flowers And Veggies

Family and friends, it's Sunday, which means there is always a 50/50 chance M'lady will actually take a day off. Today was the good 50 and a day off it was. 

As good as it gets

As we were sitting at the kitchen table after finishing off our hot dogs, she asked if I minded if she moved to the easy chair. I swung my wheelchair around and said, 'go for it',

In a slow motion flash, she moved to the easy chair and sank into it. She was a happy camper. It slowly dawned on me that in the last thirty+ years we had grown closer. A lot of credit for this great state of affairs goes to our garden.

Since day one we have always found the time, the desire and the need to dream about our garden. It has been a constant in our marriage. In good times but especially in bad times, the garden was always there to remind us of what we could lose or keep, depending upon our choices and actions.

Got to love our garden.
