The View From The Cheap Seats Is Often Subversive

January 10, 2025, Friends, Turning the vision into a plan Integrating my past with my present is not always so easy. Last night, I had a vision/dream where I was in a control room trying to get two sets of levers to work in unison. M'Lady was worried that it was a call from my ancestors to prepare for my death. But that didn't feel right. What feels right is a vision telling me it is time to integrate. What follows is part of that integration. My role? job? reason for being? was to absorb the wisdom of the village and return to the people their shared love, compassion and friendship. I was there to learn their stories and find a way to help them see the sacred within each and every one in the village. Village life back then was moving into mainstream Canada. There was a power struggle between the old and the new, which the new would eventually win, This war was fought wherever industrialization was adopted as the way of life. Tommy was The Hereditary Chief of the village. He didn't have much use for me or my position in the village. All things considered, he had good reasons for how he thought about me. My reason for being meant that a good part of every day was spent walking in the village. I'd meet people, chat a bit, and walk on. Or they would invite me in for coffee and talk on a deeper level. One day I found myself at the dock when Tommy was working on one of his nets. I stopped to chat and soon found myself helping him with the net. Eventually we ended up on his gill netter, beginning to develop a bit of mutual respect that I like to think turned into a friendship. As The Hereditary Chief of the village, he had a unique understanding of village life. There were times, when the occasion was right, that he would share his wisdom with me. One day he talked around why he wasn't the Chief that the people needed. From what he shared with me that day, I took away a powerful lesson: Leaders must be trained from infancy to be leaders. It is impossible to be a Righteous Leader without the proper training. Today, I took that lesson with me as I used Microsoft Copilot as a Devil's Advocate. That chat took more than half an hour, and to reproduce it here in totality would not be a good use of resources. So, I had Copilot create a summary. "Certainly! (Copilot) _____________________________ Today as I write this letter, Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, is misusing his power to foster a New World Order that is all about keeping the autocrats in their position of power and privilege. Musk is doing exactly what he was trained to do. This is all well and good for Musk and friends, but not so good for the rest of us. Now picture a properly trained leader with Musk's power. Imagine all of the good she could do for humanity. I say 'she' intentionally. For me, a matriarchal society based upon the Divine Mother rather than the Divine Warrior just makes more sense. I realize that what I am calling for is nothing short of a worldwide peaceful revolution, with a near zero chance of ever happening. Sill and all, I need to answer the call of my ancestors. Brian
