Oligarchs, dictators, Nazis, fascists and bullies are no more respectful of national borders than COVID-19 was. China, Russia, Israel, Afghanistan, America and many other countries are all turning into Oligarchies / New Monarchies.

History teaches that countries, nations, empires all eventually crumble. The view from the cheap seats shows that the crumbling usually takes a while. So, allow me one or two non-violent suggestions that may speed up the crumbling:

• challenge your tax bill. The longer it takes them to get your money, the better.
• become forgetful and inefficient. No more proofreading or sum checking. When Mussolini could no longer keep the trains running on time, he began to lose power. 
• bury the system in red tape. Demand that all the paperwork be fillled out in triplicate and send back what doesn't reach the highest standards. 
• when you get a sniffle, call in sick.

In a nutshell, find ways to slow them down and weaken their hold. Non-violent passive-aggressiveness, one hell of a powerful tool. And it's certainly not limited to my few suggestions. Get creative and fight for our freedom. Or not? Your choice. Our world.
