Ain't Love Grand

We have only recently discovered the benefits of Snake over Bitter Gourd. They grow more abundantly, they are bigger. perhaps most importantly, they aren’t bitter!

A little history: I have diabetes. What I eat can make or break my health. For about a year I was munching away on Bitter Gourds in soups and salads. This was a challenge. I seriously prefer sweet over bitter. However, I also prefer to keep my extremities so, Bitter Gourd it was.

One day M’lady was introduced to Snake Gourds. She brought one home, we tried it, we got some seeds and Toms your uncle.

Time for a little dark humor. M’Lady has a thing about snakes. And if I didn’t have diabetes, she wouldn’t have any Snake Gourds in the garden.
