In 67 The Flag Was Banned And The Watermelon Was Raised

For those who believe that the Zionist genocidal attack on the Palestinian people was in response to the October 7, 2023, Terrorist Attack I offer this post as a lesson to be learned.
Occupied people always find ways to humiliate their oppressors. When Israel banned the Palestinian Flag sliced watermelon became incredibly popular.
"The watermelon slice has become a symbol of Palestinian support because its colors—red, black, white, and green—correspond to the colors of the Palestinian flag. This symbolism emerged after the Six-Day War in 1967 when Israel seized control of the West Bank and Gaza, and annexed East Jerusalem. The Israeli government made public displays of the Palestinian flag a criminal offense in these areas. To circumvent the ban, Palestinians began using the watermelon as a symbol because, when cut open, it shows the national colors of the Palestinian flag123. The watermelon slice thus became a stealthy symbol for Palestinian solidarity, used in art, demonstrations, and social media to represent Palestinian identity and resistance4. The ban on the Palestinian flag was lifted in 1993 as part of the Oslo Accords1. However, the watermelon remains a powerful symbol for Palestinians and their supporters1234." (Copilot) This war has been fought for going on 100 years. Both sides have committed horrific war crimes. October 7 was just a continuation of the brutality as is Israels response to October 7. The only way for this brutality to stop is for both sides to look forward to find peace instead of looking backwards to find war. The Green Man

This war has been fought for going on 100 years. Both sides have committed horrific war crimes. October 7 was just a continuation of the brutality as is Israels response to October 7.

The only way for this brutality to stop is for both sides to look forward to find peace instead of looking backwards to find war.
