Doing It Right

Hi one and all, of late my feet have felt 'thick'. For anyone with diabetes, this is a clarion call to action! 

I'm a little heavier and a lot uglier, but you get the idea.

My answer to the call is to get back on my exercise bike and to pull out the floor mats. Fifteen minutes of easy on the joints elevated heart rate followed by 15 or so minutes of not so gentle tai chi stretching done sitting down. Sitting down because if I attempted the standing tai chi set I'd find myself quickly and probably painfully falling over. Net result? My feet aren't as thick and my whole body is looser and feels better. 

Only the gods know how I'll feel tonight. But right now I feel good, and that's good enough. 

Hmmmm Of The Morning

There's an old saying that makes the valid point that the people may not get the government that they want, but they certainly get the government they deserve. That saying remains valid when applied to the world. America gets Trumpism. The world swings to strong man autocratic rule. The result is already ugly, and it will get nothing but uglier unless we wake up and start to follow our better ancestors and angels.
